PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not worth the hassle to deal with this group of jerks. Taking my money to a real shop with a crew that knows the value of a loyal customer.
Anyone who who throws their money away at way to grow!!!! Aside from the shameful pricing and not backing their products, the owner doesn't even have the least bit of respect for your business. The staff for the most part is polite and will answer your questions, to the best of their ability; but don't be fooled by this. Nor by the size and ambiance of the store. As your business is not valued at way to grow, and god forbid should you happen to purchase defective equipment; or have pre-mature equipment failure..... Well, then you shall have to find out the hard way just how valuable your business is at way to grow. I just hope your not a medical patient thats SOL when your hard earned money goes down the toilet.
These guys are pretty damn good at what they do: Very Knowlegable, professional, affordable and friendly, a few things though- Call before you go, these guys have a HUGE turn over rate on product, esp. CO2 tanks and live preditors for pest control and you may want to make sure they have what you need in stock- Staff is ALWAYS busy, I have had staff in the middle of answering a question for me, take a phone for some inventory thing and walk away for a minute. Most people would consider this rude and walk out. The knowledge is invaluable and everytime the employee has returned, appologized and finised answering me, have patients.- Secure some time, there is usually a line at the checkoutthese guys easily have everything you need too start up your own grow room in the store (usually) ready for purchase.
I am new in town and went to way to grow and my experence there was great, they really valued my business and were extremely eager to help me with any questions I had. I will tell all of my friends about this place.
Holy Cow this place is sick!!!!Now that they have their HUGE store they ALWAYS have what I want in stock. The prices are killer and the crew is awesome. For the people below who had a problem returning things, I dont know what you are talking about. I've never had a problem. I have never been hassled and always get top notch customer service. Marty is the guy I go to every time I am in the shop. He knows his stuff and gets you in and out of there quick! I do not shop anywhere else now that I know I can get it all at one shop!
I like this shop, but the new one on College is a bit better simply due to the guys that work there. It is called the grow shop and it is just south of prospect on college...but they both are good. Mostly the small store had good things to say about Way To Grow...Yet the big store (Way to Grow) was slamming on the little guy. Not too cool. Nick, at way to grow bragged how they were keeping them from getting good product. not too cool...someone trying to keep the prices high maybe. Whatever, try the small shop. They didn't talk crap, just guano.
I am done with this store. I shopped there for four years. In the beginning when they were new it was good and they treated me like they valued my business but in the past year or so the bigger they get the bigger the bigger their ego gets and I do not get the same level of treatment I did in the beginning and I am spending way more money now than i ever did before! Nick is cool so is Tim but the owner and one other guy make it not a good experience to shop. The owner was friendly and all smiles when he opened that sore but now he will tell you to your face to get out of his store if you have anything negative to say about the service or product. I was in business for myself for 12 years and if you cannot handle feedback from your loyal customers you will not be in business long. I witnessed a customer give him a simple complaint about something that was not even that big of deal the owner snapped and told him "you know what, get out of my store man. I don't need your business.
Not a bad shop but it can be hit or miss with what they have in stock and sometimes they are to busy to help me. A few of the guys working there are alright but there two that if they are working I won't bother and drive down the road to shop.
holy moly, i never imagined a hydroponic shop being so big, what are they like 20,000 square feet? great place, great service
At last a store in Colorado has Canna, this is the only shop i will be going to for good now. wtg kicks it!
All I can say is Dayummmmm!!! BIGGEST store I've seen. They have everything I want when I want it and at the price I want to pay. Off the hook! Even their dog is awesome! All around sick shop man. Check it out.
This store ROCKS!!!! I have never seen such a BIG store! BEST PRICES IN COLORADO! The guys that work there are top knotch and know their stuff! I will definitely be a regular here! This place is the BOMB!! The dog is awesome, the crew is awesome, the prices are freaking unbelievable. You cannot find another store better than this within 800 miles, I can guarantee you that.
What a shop! I have never seen some much gear and the guys working there seem to know almost everything about all of it! Definitely the nicest store in the state by far. Too bad competition wastes time bashing the place rather than creating a respectable store for themselves.
I shopped here for about two years now, never had no problems until now. I ask a question about them buying some lights back from me I bought from him a while back that burnt my plants. He said it being my fault not the fault of the lamps. I said hey I'm not trying to make a big problem out of it but say I been shopping here for a while and I was fine doing business with them but that what's fair is fair and it isn't right to sell defective produts to costomers and not be willing to back their products. Any good business will do that but this guy told me to get out of his store. My bros and I will not be shopping here no more.
I agree with the previous review. The owners nasty attitude is not worth shopping there. I told him I had saw the same product for much less in Denver and asked if he would sell it to me for less. I wasn't even asking him to beat the other guys price but I figure I am buying a truck full of stuff from him store he could at least sell it to me for a better price. He told me to shop elsewhere. If he treats all his customers this way it wont be long before he's got nobody to shop at his store. I never saw such bad business. Whatever happened to pride of ownership?
Not only did I have to drive all the way to the interstate to have the owners dog wipe slobber on me, they were creeps to me. I told them the liquid plant food they had sold me THE DAY BEFORE leaked in my car..they said they didn't sell it to me!!!! I didn't even want anything, just told them in passing..it was not a big deal and leaked onto a paper on the floor. just told them to tell them...was blowen away at their response. The owner got involved and told me to "try to find some place else to shop" WTF??? These guys need to come off their high horse.
If you have questions or need to return something do not shop at Way to Grow. They are rude!!! They lost my business forever.
They have a nice inventory but there prices are a joke. The guys who run the shop are rude. If you go, ask for Tim. He is always helpful. Nick is okay to but Corey is a weird guy and not much help at all and romor has it he owns the shop but you would never know. Worst customer service around. You can beat them up for pricing but its still a better savings to drive to the Big Tomato in Denver. Those guys there are way cooler and happy to help and the customer service is great.
