My wife and I had an great experience living here for 2 1/2 years. The complex was clean and quiet and we never had any problems with noise or neighbors. We were on the top floor so I can't speak for noise through the floors. We almost did not live hear because of all the negative reviews I saw but I'm very glad we did. The management is very strict which explains why people attack them on other reviews. If you want a quiet place to live by the rules and you want you neighbors to have to follow the rules too, this is the place to live. -Phil

I would give them zero stars if it would allow me to! This place was awful!! The people in the front office are the most rude inconsiderate people I have ever met! Talking to them is beyond pointless. They will go above and beyond to lie to you and to make you feel like the bad person. At one point an office staff member turned their back to me and ignored me! Wow great customer service there! Read all the reviews about the office staff before moving there. Almost all are bad except I am sure for the ones the office staff wrote about themselves!The apartments are horrible on the inside! Every time it rains or snows my apartment leaks water. Nothing is done to fix the problem so it continues to happen. I now have mold growing but they will not do anything about it. There is major construction happening and according to the oh so friendly office staff it will continue to happen for the next 3 years! The construction will make it impossible for you to relax while it is happening. They workers leave their materials all over and so you have to watch where you walk u less you want a nail in your foot! Want to sleep past 7, guess again u less you sleep like the dead and can sleep through jack hammering! When I asked why they never told me construction was going to happen on the place (it started two weeks after I moved in) the office staff woman blamed her coworkers stating that "she informs all potential clients of the chipping paint that needs repairs"! First off she gave me the tour and signed my lease and she said nothing about it. Chipped paint means new paint, not entirely new siding and parts of the cement. After this job they will be doing new gutters along with 2 other construction jobs that will take many years to fix! That right there is a major sign to run away unless you like living through construction! Maintenance are the most incompetent group of people out there. They cannot tell time and show up hours late and then act like they deserve an award for actually coming. If something breaks on the weekend and you need to call the emergency line because it is an emergency, be prepared to have a 4 hour wait for them to call you back. Then they will come over hours later to fix a major issue in your apartment. Look at all reviews on this apartment place. Almost all are bad, and the one/two that are exceptionally positive I can guarantee is written by the apartment staff! Run now and find a better apartment place that will treat you better. In all of my years of traveling for work and renting apartments I have never lived in such an awful place! Renter beware, awful!

Do not rent from this slum lord

There is NO insulation between the floors of this complex or the walls ! You will constantly hear the floor creek loudly above you, your "chandelier" shaking at every move from the apt above you and mostly, the sound of slamming toilet seats or gushing water above you at all hours of the night, as when someone does dishes or laundry . BEWARE of the creepy maintenance guys too !!!!! Stay away from here !!!!

The office staff is completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. One of the office staff lives there and her dogs are aggressive and bark constantly. They leave their windows open so their dogs can hear everything and bark all day long. Their dogs will charge at other dogs and at people. We presented this issue to office management and were attacked for filing the complaint. They make up rules about the pool and hottub hours. Parking is bad and there are many vandalisms here. Office management does nothing about any issues. It may be cheaper than some but you will regret living there. Worst rental experience we have ever had. Check out the other reviews on Google. Many of the same comments.

We found Somerset is not Resort Living as the sign states. My biggest tip for anyone considering living here is read the contract carefully. It is by far more strict than any other apartment lease agreement in Colorado. They changed our local renter laws to a more stricter California Laws. They even found ways to take your whole security deposit away without any reason. Even if you kept the apartment spotless and in great working order. Good Luck finding a parking space within the complex after 9pm! I had to park my car at the local park or even the shopping center nearby because of not finding a space. Their office workers are not considerate. For example, one of them parks their large vehicle using 2-3 parking spaces over night (hence the parking issue). They have entered our home several times without warning; even if we did not request work to be done. Plus the Pool, Laundry, and Jacuzzi rarely works. They have wasps living throughout the complex and purposely kills the sparrows.
