Rocky Mountain High School is a public school offering educational instruction to students in grades 10 through 12. Established in 1973, the school has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students. Its mascot is the Lobo and colors are cardinal red and yellow gold. The school features a schedule, which comprises four nine-week terms per year and four 90-minute classes per day. It also features an extensive music program, including bands, orchestras and choirs. The school has an award-winning forensics program, student newspaper, yearbook and drama program. It provides opportunities for students to participate in more than 25 student organizations, including a student council, class councils, peer counseling, and a variety of clubs related to curriculum and student interests. The school offers advanced placement courses in literature and composition, French, German, Spanish, European history, psychology, calculus, statistics, chemistry, physics, music theory, studio art, geography and biology. Rocky Mountain High School is a part of the Poudre School District and is located in Fort Collins, Colo.
