You can be as involved with your neighbors as you want. My neighbor and I share taking care of our animals when needed, and/or taking each other to appts. They do accept small animals, so me being a dog owner I know people from one end of the park to the other. The community is quiet, and management makes sure it stays clean. The Lot rent is fair and includes basic cable, garbage, and sewer costs. We have a yearly BBQ and dance. There r also typically 2 yard sales per year to get some money from those nifty items u may have lying around. We are 2 miles from downtown Ft Collins. I ride my bike into town for free Summer concerts, and shopping year round. It is a great way to have an affordable house with a yard to garden in. Several people find it nice to have an affordable house, and be snowbirds...to travel to warmer states in winter. There is a very nice park very close by. Also The Mobile Home Park is super close to the Poudre River trails. The Poudre River trail is great for walking, riding, or just sitting and enjoying the sound of the water. Several groups have evolved in the community. You have folks playing scrabble, to even a collective weight loss group. I personally have a mom, an aunt and uncle that live in the community. You see a lot of families in different mobile homes scattered all over the park. The park offers many beautiful used homes as well as some fancy new homes. You can have it all and still enjoy having some money left over. Come and take a look some time!!
