With 18 years of experience, Tanya Vallianos, MA, LPC, ATR, NCC, EMDR III, EAP II, has found that an integrative and holistic perspective is most effective. Women (18 on up) and individuals with a trauma history are her specialty and primary focus. She utilizes a blend of both eastern and western philosophy/modalities. Using Art Therapy with Mindfulness and Body-Centered practices (EMDR II. Somatic Experiencing, Resource Tapping) along with Guided Imagery, Nature-Inspired practices and traditional talk therapy allow women to engage on all levels - body, mind, emotion and spirit. Equine-Assisted Therapy/Coaching can also serve a person well depending on their needs. Tanya's approach is warm, gentle, and compassionate, as well as informative, direct, and practical. She works with each person as an individual creating a therapeutic environment that is unique to that person's needs. Clients report that their work together allows them to connect more deeply to themselves and others, to communicate their thoughts and feelings more effectively and clearly with others, and to find more stability and joy in their lives. As always, Tanya is pleased to inspire the best in you!
