My husband and I are seasonal residents of Wellington, CO. For the past three years, including 2019, we have had nothing but problems with miscommunication with office staff, constant billing issues, and a complete lack of accountability for not following our directions at the beginning of our stay all the way to the end of our stay each year.
When we put our service on vacation status last Fall (2018), Gallegos continued to bill us for the rest of the fall and winter months and sent bills to an address (closed PO Box) that we had clearly told them we would not be at any longer so we did not receive their bills through the winter and did not even know there was a problem. When we returned this spring and restarted service in early June, we were told we had a past due bill for October, November, December, and January of 2019/2018 after we had already called and terminated service. After finally having someone acknowledge that we had been billed in error by resending an email where they had acknowledged our termination last fall, they finally amended the statement for the current months of service June - August of this year but the bill included the month of September 2019 too, beyond the stay we had explained to them when the service was restarted. So, I called and explained that we would not be here in September and to go ahead and prorate the service through August and we paid the $54.00 we were told to pay in advance only for June, July, and August. I also requested emailed bills and updated the billing address to our current PO box. When the revised statement arrived by email, it still had the old PO Box but I did not bother correcting it again because we had paid in full, in advance.
Today, we received an orange tag on our trash can instructing us to call billing to avoid service interruption. Not only was the CS person rude and demanding with me about the $16.00 for September that we do not owe and will not pay since we had pre-paid for June - August, she was also quite argumentative with me that our bill was "past due." How can a bill for services not rendered in a month that has not even happened yet be past due? I requested to speak with a manager and the manager wanted to argue with me about the amount due as well. Even after I pointed out that we were billed beyond the month of August in error and she could clearly see that we had paid only through August, she still insisted that we owed for September. I don't know if these people don't understand simple math or they have severe listening and comprehension issues, but apparently no one in their billing office knows what the heck is going on and has a severe failure to complete the simplest of instructions without errors. And I don't believe they care either. Needless to say, we will NOT be using Gallegos for any future services! Period!
I kept getting letters saying I was late and they were going to interrept my services the funny thing is that I paid a year in advance so I am caught up intel January I never heard from them and it is not even January yet I called and the rep was very rude I will be switching and I will pass the word to everybody in Wellington because it is a very small town
Thank you for all the wonderful service you have provided for us. It is so nice to have friendly drivers with support staff who are very courteous and some have even picked up fly-away paper that escaped while loading our trash.
This company has the worst customer service and will provide fraudulent comments on your account. If you are in Fort Collins, I would use RAM services. I used them for over a year with my business and was so dissapointed. Not to mention it is very high in price compared. Save yourself the hassle, go with a reliable company. These guys are AWFUL!!!
I called to see if I wanted to switch service to Gallegos - after talking with Lourdes, I decided to do so immediately. She was helpful and knowledgeable, and when I asked if she had time, she said it was no problem. As long as the rest of the service is as good as she was, they will have my business as long as I am in the area.
We recently moved and the company sent the truck to pick up the trash bins at the new house. Then they called and couldn't understand why the trash bins weren't at the new house. The customer service people were rude and lied and said that I told them the trash bins would be at the new house. Even the manager was rude and defended her employee who clearly made a mistake and wouldn't admit it.
I had to do major cleaning and needed a roll-off. Reasonable, and timely pick-up. Never had problems with them for regular trash, either
