I have been suffering from a high hamstring injury for the last 3 ½ years, which was originally misdiagnosed as sciatica. Driving and sitting were extremely painful. I had tried everything, including three different physical therapists. I had almost resigned myself to thinking I would always live with this chronic, nagging pain. But then I met Silvia. After my first visit with Silvia, I finally believed that it was possible to heal my leg. The treatment I received and the exercises I was given have changed everything. For the first time in 3 ½ years, I’m running again and I’m increasing my mileage weekly with no pain. I’m able to sit for longer periods of time. I am now confident that this depressing, painful injury will soon be a distant memory and I couldn't have done it without Silvia. She is absolutely amazing. She knows what she’s doing, she’s very compassionate, and she’s genuinely concerned about her patient’s health. I’m incredibly grateful to have found her.

I was a patient of silvias at fort collins physical therapy and would never recommend her to anyone!!! She has no sense of time management and is always 20 or more minutes late. She has 0 respect for patient privacy. On numerous occasions she talked about other patients to me while doing my therapy. She would leave the room in the middle of treatment to answer personal phone calls. Her staff turn over rate is out of control. On top of which she discusses employees to her patients. Silvia has no ethics when it comes to patient care.most of the time she has her assistants see her patients for her. She makes people pay in advance for there visits due to how money hungry she is. Patients and staff are treated poorly and are completely dispensable. I got amazing care from orthepedic center of the rockies and would highly recommend seeking care at a facility like that!!!!

I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for months and months. I went to a Fort Collins Podiatrist and spent huge money for orthotics. Out of desperation I requested a scrip for Physical Therapy. I randomly chose Silvia and am so glad that I did. The treatment that I received from her and her staff has been great. I am progressing and see progress after every visit.The orthotics that I got from the podiatrist were like walking on concrete with bumps, so uncomfortable. After the second or third visit Silvia suggested I try the Aline's (insert for shoe). I was impressed with the fitting and alignment that she did and when I used them I was amazed. Even improved my Golf game with better balance!! Try Silvia!!!!! Mike B

I was referred by my GP to seek physical therapy for a persistent pain in my hip, knee and leg. My GP originally suggested that my problem had to do with the sciatic nerve. I randomly selected FC PT. There was a thorough evaluation and a set of physical therapies recommended for what was "diagnosed" as bursitis. The results were what one would hope for. The therapist was knowledgeable, professional and very easy to work with. Based upon my experience, I can, without question, redcommend FC PT.

I started going to Silvia after I was in a bad car accident with a drunk driver. after a few appointments Silvia had a feeling that I had a ruptured disc in my neck and recommended I get an MRI before we did any more therapy. Once results were back we found out she was correct and able to start working on that specific location. We did electric acupuncture, laser point and ultrasound to make my disc close up and heal quicker. She also did traction on my neck to release pressure and massaged all the muscles that are acting up. Thanks to Silvia I have made a faster than normal recovery even though the disc will never be fully healed. I will go to her for all my therapy needs and recommend her to anyone that needs physical therapy! Her team is fantastic and they be sure to make a great personal connection with all of their clients. I am so thankful I decided to do my therapy at Fort Collins Physical Therapy and will always be grateful for all they have done and will continue to do for me!A big thank you Silvia, Coleen and Kelly!!

My son, 16, recently has had 2 lung ruptures and after 3 chest tubes and 1 major surgery, he's finally on the road to recovery. His road there unfortunately has been stunted by damaged nerves due to inadequate preparation of surgery/ anestetia. He came out of surgery with no control of his right hand. the nurses, the surgeon, and even the neurologoists really couldn't give us an accurate reason as to why this happened, OR if it was going to regain movement and sensory in his hand. He was seen briefly by an occupational therapist moments before he was seen by discharge personnel and they gave him a worksheet of exercises along with some silly putty and sent him on his way. After a couple days, I decided to take him to see Silvia, who I had heard about from my friend who told me was a miracle worker. Within 5 minutes of him being in there, she knew exactly which muscle and which group of nerves had been damaged, (which by the way, was wrongly diagnosed by the neurologists) and started working on him. When he walked out of the office, he was gleaming because he finally had answers, he finally could feel and move his fingers. Most importantly, it gave him hope and confidence that he was going to be alright. I can't thank you enough Silvia! You really ARE a miracle worker!

The physical therapy which I received from Sylvia Sorensen (for major spinal surgery) has been a remarkable success. Sylvia and her trained assistants treated me with kindness and thoroughness. I highly recommend Sylvia for anyone needing rehab. training and encouragement.

I first saw Silvia in Amman Jordan a couple years ago for a shoulder injury after a bad fall. I was treated with injections and pain pills prior to seeing her but was getting worse. Within few minutes she diagnosed me to have a full rotator cuff tear and bicep rupture, she ordered an MRI which confirmed her diagnosis. I had surgery in the US, now I have full function of my shoulder and no pain. Few months ago I injured my back lifting a propane tank, I was told I had a ruptured disc and I needed surgery. I flew to CO in February and received extensive therapy for one week from Silvia at her Ft Collins clinic, I'm still doing the exercises she showed me. I have no leg or back pain!! Silvia is the only doctor I trust!!

I am so pleased that I met Silvia Soresen. Our meeting took place in a restroom in an Old Town restaurant. I was beside her at the sinks and saw that she was wearing a stunning necklace. I turned to tell her how lovely it was and she immediately said to me "you have a problem with your neck'.I have, over a period of 4-5 years, been to spine surgeons, neurosurgeons, a number of chiropractors, a pain management doctor, and a variety of physical therapy places. I have been told by each of them that I have "the worst neck I have ever seen". Other PT places have had me doing everything from blowing up balloons to using my neck to pull down a weighted bar. Since I've started to see Silvia, my pain level has decreased significantly. Silvia is a hands on person. Each time I visit her she uses alternate machines, which she operates herself because they are complex, and then she uses her hands to work my neck. She's the only PT I need. She's totally devoted to her patients.

With debilitating pain in my knees, feet, and legs, I could barely even hobble to my refrigerator. I owe my ability to walk today to Silvia's expertise in diagnosing and treating exactly what was wrong with me. Just a few appointments with Silvia and I was walking at a normal speed with no pain. If you want to feel better, simply do everything she says and soon you will be very surprised.

My friend and I have been training with Steve and we are doing very well. He encourages you to do more than you thought you could. I know if I had stayed at a gym I would be picking up 10 lb. weights thinking I worked out...no way! Steve mixes it up and knows how to reach your full potential. I would highly recommend Steve Allen for your personal training needs. Get a great kick start to your workouts and use him FIRST!! We are seeing remarkable results in only 4 sessions!

I received treatment at Fort Collins Physical Therapy & Sports Center two times for two different severe ailments. The first time was for a very painful neck injury. Sylvia and her assistants treated me and I was back in tip top condition in a couple of months. The second time was for a painful frozen shoulder. My shoulder was so bad I thought I would have to go on disability. I visited several doctors and had expensive tests taken but no real treatment was recommended except physical therapy, I went to the physical therapist my family doctor recommended but it was not Sylvia and my shoulder wasn't getting better. I finally decided to go to Sylvia. Sylvia gave me the aggresive treatment I needed. I now have full range of movement and am pain-free. I highly recommend Sylvia and Fort Collins Physical Therapy & Sports Center.

Silvia helped me when no one else could. I had been to another physical therapist, had nine visits with him. He did nothing for me.She helped me with my shoulder and bicep. I fell on the ice and really damaged it.She was AMAZING. I am back to normal and feeling great.Love her office staff, they are fabulous. Nancy

I have two different physical issues that are unrelated. I have had PT before with a different PT for 6 months for one of these issues without much success. I have been seeing Sylvia for only a few weeks and already see improvement! I'm very pleased and relieved that something can actually be done about my issue that doesn't require more surgery. I find Sylvia to be professional, very thorough, friendly and welcoming. She is amazing!

Wow! I went in with a torn rotator cuff injury from last summer that was not getting better. It was actually getting worse. I had lost a good deal of my range of motion in my shoulder and had alot of pain when trying to do simple tasks. Silvia was able to review what was going on with my shoulder and diagnose that I had a frozen shoulder and adhesions from waiting so long to get therapy. Silvia is an expert in shoulders. She was able to fix my shoulder problem in less than 3 weeks. I now have full range of motion and no pain. I would highly recommend her to anyone. This is a very talented lady.

I slipped on some ice and injured my knee. The doctor I saw suggested injections or arthroscopic surgery. I called FCPT and they were very encouraging about helping me with some therapy. After a few treatments I do not have much pain and have resumed all my normal activities. Silvia and her staff are very professional and knowlegeable and made me feel very comfortable. Their treatment and care saved me lots of money and time away from work by avoiding surgery. No wonder they have been in business so long! And the capuccino machine is nice touch! While playing high school football i sustained tron ligaments in a my shoulder along with a partially torn rotate cuff. I had surgery in the beginning of August and then moved down to Fort Collins for school. My experience with Silvia, Ashley and Holly was nothing short of spectacular. My doctor was thoroughly impressed by my progress as well as the end result. Care for my shoulder was impressive with hands on and resistance treatments.
