I couldn't believe how rude this man was on the phone. He acted like it was an inconvenience to be talking to me, and for me to ask him questions. Unless you like verbal abuse, don't bother calling.
Called Mike at Easy Chair Mower Repair to set up an appt. to get my mower tuned up. Mike was rude during the conversation. After talking with Mike it rubbed me wrong that I was going to do business with him. The next morning I cancelled the appt. and Mike responded with another rude remark and huge up. Not a thank you for letting him know so he can open up that slot for another customer. On a positive not this experience pushed me to research and complete my on tune up on my mower saving $60. So I guess I need to Thank Mike! Make it a Great Day!

Rude, rude,rude. Maybe he called his business easy chair because that's where he'd rather be. Definitely doesn't want to be even mildly decent to customers.

Odd- so I called the Easy Chair guy.. I said in a light hearted manner "Hi, I have a lawn mower that my husband planned to fix but has been too busy and the lawn is getting higher, can you come out and take a look at it." He said, "No. I don't want to get in the middle of a marital problem" I told him it wasn't like that, my husband would like this repaired. He said to have my husband call him. I found this offensive that my husband heeds to talk to this guy: as a woman (with two college degrees) I'm not capable of negotiating such a manly contract. I will not call him back.

Such a great service ! who would have thought I would be so lucky ! RE: having a retired aircraft mechanic work on my mower ! He did a great job, and even explained why I didn't need some of the work I had requested ! AND he did it in my driveway on the day and time he had promised !

I would NOT recommend using this business. I called to get information about getting a lawn mower repaired. For reasons that I don't understand, he was extremely rude to me. I tried to get him to explain his behavior, but he just continued to be very rude, interrupting me and telling me that he couldn't help me....with a lawn mower repair/tune up. It's what he does. I have never in my life been talked to like that and it made no sense, I was trying really hard to give him some business. I didn't raise my voice, I didn't ask for anything unusual, I have NO IDEA why he was such a jerk. His choice.
The owner was rude. Complained about the distance he had to driveto look at my mowers, and then after looking at them said he did not want to work on either my riding or push mower, and both should be replaced. I took both mowers to a local mower repair shop, and they were tuned up and repaired to perfection with a helpful freindly attitude and at a very reasonable price. I would not reccommend "Easy Chair" at all.
Mike runs his business like an engine. He has taken care of both my riding mower and my push behind for several years. He takes the extra steps to make it run like new.
