Dr. Stephen Wold joined Alpine Ear, Nose, and Throat in July 2010. Born in Michigan, he spent most of his upbringing near Columbus, Ohio. He earned his undergraduate degree in Zoology at Miami University before continuing on to earn his medical degree at the Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. His residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery was completed on the east coast in Norfolk, Virginia at the Eastern Virginia Medical School, a program which has prepared him exceptionally well across the breadth of Otolaryngology and its subspecialties. He received Board Certification in 2011. Though he enjoys practicing the full spectrum of the field, he has particular interests in disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid, sinus and allergy treatment, pediatric otolaryngology, and airway disorders. Dr. Wold has strong family ties to Northern Colorado and has long felt at home in the area. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, biking, skiing, hiking, and camping.
