Provided by YP.comThere are the best people for your animals. I have had both of my dogs here for eight years and every interaction with them I walk away relieved and educated. They are friendly, knowledgable, and very flexible if your animal ever has an emergency. I highly recommend them!

We had been taking our cat to Chappelle for 5 years. Our cat went missing & was gone for 3 wks. A local cat rescue called us with a possible match. Our cat is black with no markings and this cat was black with no markings. He was thinner than our cat & very scared. We accepted the cat thinking that maybe is was our cat malnourished & traumatized. I called Chappelle seeking advise, wandering if they could help me identify the cat as ours due to possible scars or X-ray. They scheduled the appt. I made it clear that I was looking for help with identification. They took the cat and performed various test, none of which I asked for or was aware of. They never said "yes, we can help you b/c we have this info available on file" or "no, we cannot help you b/c ..." Instead they took the cat perfomed test, prescriped 2 different forms of medicine, communicated nothing and sent me home with a $125 bill for a cat that wasn't mine.

Brought our/a 1 yr old canine in for an eye issue. She was squinting and showing eye discomfort. Told vet she also seemed to have dark spot in same eye. Diagnosed "eye pigmentation change" deemed harmless and sent home $77 dollars poorer. 1 week later back in, SAME eye much worse. Diagnosis: conjunctivitis. Called AHEAD of time to get office charge waived. She told me it was noted and in the chart, and we would see the other vet in the office.
Result: Charged $37 for an office call, plus $53 for eye stain and meds.
Very disappointed, and stated we should not be charged for another office call when this was clearly misdiagnosed. also very alarmed the lady "noted in chart" to waive office call which apparently means....nothing. Same eye, symptoms much worse.
The best part? I asked to speak to the person the receptionist kept bring my case to. The receptionist actually snickered at me and said "Oooooooooo Kay" like I was being silly. Put me on hold for 9 minutes -- then told me they could not speak to me.
Gets better, she stated that until I paid in full we would not get medicine. Did that really need to be said?
Signed,
$167 poorer for a very common
eye infection.

My dog cut his tail open and it cost $500 to stitch it back up which I had no problem with. They told me I needed to come back for a bandage check in a few days and said there was no cost for that exam. When I went back for that bandage change sure i didn't have to pay for the exam but it did cost me $50 for "supplies" to re-wrap the wound!!! They wanted me to come back 2 more times after that. I never went back after that visit. I find it hard to justify how tape, gauze and vet wrap costs $50! They also wanted to charge me $10 for my dog's medical records so I could give them to my new vet. My dog went their a total of 3 times and I don't really have anything good to say about them at all. The doctor was very short and the staff was rude.

Very good animal hospital with wonderful veterinarians and staff. I choose to come here over other well-known veterinary hospitals in the area.
