Standing in line??- you may ask...am I picking up a package? Maybe a late Christmas present?? Did I have a letter come certified mail?? nope, none of those.
I (stupidly) ran out of stamps this morning, and have one- yes ONE bill left to pay for the month. So.. today I decided to run up here and grab a stamp on my lunch break... but guess what? Forney does not have an automatic stamp dispenser like so many other post offices do in their lobby, so- for my ONE stamp, I now have been standing in line for over 20 minutes. Had I known, I would have paid extra for my stamp at the gas station..I am glad I have more than 30 minutes for my lunch break, or I might not have an opportunity to eat at all. There is only one person working the teller window, and he has nothing pleasant to say.. only "NEXT.." You'd think they'd schedule lunch breaks around the rush times here.. but no.
In a world of instant gratification, high speed internet and considering how much the USPS is losing per year with the invention of e-mail, you would think that they would make using their services a little more convenient. 26 minutes now- 3 people still ahead of me.. maybe I should look into online bill payment.. this is rediculous! Is the crime in Forney so bad that the local community cannot be trusted with a coin operated machine in the lobby or what? Because they have these machines in most other P.O's I have been in.. did I mention how glad I was to be living here now??

Provided by YPmobileNormally do not do bad reviews and believe in giving people benefit of the doubt but the service and treatment I received today were very lacking. Nasty attitude and unfair in treatment. Trying to send overnight letter and was told to get out of line to put on address which literally took me 30 seconds. Sent back through long line ,person behind me going same, took him ahead of me, took another person standing at counter not sent back through line. Bad experience few times I've been there.

Provided by YP.comHORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! The lady I have spoken with all morning is HORRIBLE! I had a package to be sent out for delivery (small package) and the carrier took it back saying my grandparents didn't have a mailbox. I have been going to their house for 23 years. They have a mailbox. EVERYONE DOES! Instead of taping a letter to the door letting me know I can pick it up at a facility, they sent it straight back to dallas and are returning it to sender. It was a really important package that I had to have. Way to go Forney!
