Food very expensive and just very average, clientel seated on both sides of us loud and obnoxious.



Not a happy experience and definitely not worth the money.

I've had several banquets and dinners there the food and service is excellent and I would highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work. Betsy

My parents, my new husband and I went to Il Giardino on June 12, 2010 to celebrate our wedding. It was just the 4 of us for dinner. We noticed that they changed the menu and other than my husband's dinner, the rest of us were not impressed. The menu used to have a lot of favorites on it (i.e. shrimp scampi) and those were gone off the menu. We had been to the restaurant in the past (earlier this year and the last 3 years) and it was wonderful. So, I don't know what happened. Needless to say for what my parents paid, it was not worth the price. We will not be returning.

Definitely a local favorite for a fancy night out and the food is very good, however, I disagree about the atmosphere. Each time we've eaten here, we feel so packed in next to other people, it's impossible to have a romantic dinner for 2.

Best food in Forked River hands down! Great service, just a wonderful experience!
