Dr. Unterman is the Chairman of the Department of Radiology at the Ocean Medical Center. He has completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He also completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Body Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He is a graduate of New York Medical College in New York and State University of New York at New Paltz. Dr. Unterman graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Unterman has been a Diagnostic and Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at Ocean Medical Center in New Jersey for the past 31 years. Dr. Unterman has served as the Chairman of the Medical Education Committee and as Chairman of the Meridian Radiology Steering Committee. He presently serves on the Medical Executive Committee at Ocean Medical Center, Quality Improvement and Outcomes Committee at Ocean Medical Center, and is also on the Radiology Steering Committee of the five hospitals of Meridian Health System. He has been Physician of the Year two times. He was board certified in Diagnostic Radiology in 1983 and has received added qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology in 1997. He is a licensed Physician and Surgeon in the states of New York and New Jersey, and is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology.
