I was doing a random google search of Lanuto Architecture and found this negative review from 2013 from a past client in regards to Lanuto Architecture.

As one of the Owner's of Lanuto Architecture, we find this upsetting to see as we always strive to have happy and satisfied clients from the beginning to the end of each project. Everyone has their right to their own opinion and we respect that, but for potential clients who are interested in working with our architectural office we wanted to let you know that we can provide any number of positive reviews from our past clients who always state they would be happy to talk to potential clients on our behalf. We do not ask our clients to go onto websites and place reviews as we are a customer referred based company and our clients referrals are our best review.

If you do not know our company, we are a husband and wife both licensed architectural firm performing both residential and commercial architecture. We both love our jobs and enjoy working together with each other and our clients on a daily basis.

We do however need to conform to the "codes" per the negative review as "codes" are based upon previous historical issues and sometimes they do not allow designers to think "outside of the box". These "codes" are a necessity to safeguard life and we would take safeguarding life over thinking "outside of the box" to ensure all families are safe and have a peace of mind when they are in their homes.

Very disappointed in the design, level of detail, service, extra fees and what I did not receive for the money spent. If you are looking for experience in all facets of design, knowledge of local code, elevation knowledge and innovation, this is not the firm. Everything is "per code" per her interpretation. No :out-of-the-box" anything. In other words, if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
