Astrology is an ancient system in which personal qualities and tendencies as well as events and activities are associated with patterns and cycles of the planets of our solar system. In modern astrology we use three parts of a horoscope to determine the factors in a persons life. First are the positions of eight planets of our solar system plus the Sun and the earths Moon. They are in turn related to the constellations of our galaxy (called signs). The planets and signs are connected to areas of life experience (called houses). Through a reading of a horoscope we can perceive the tools, strengths, challenges and weaknesses to work with or work through.
