Starship is a quirky sandwich shop on Madison in Forest Park. Quirky because the somewhat bare-bones seating area is decorated with Star Trek and Star wars merchandise. However, slightly nerdy decor aside, the soups and sandwiches are excellent and the staff is really friendly. This is one of my family's favorite places to order from. We especially like the homemade soups and potato chips. I have also used Starship's catering service a number of times for school events. They are easy to work with, reliable, and the food -- which is slightly more ambitious than just soups and subs -- is delicious. We had lots of happy teachers at our last PTO event.

I recently had my husbands 40th birthday party at Slaite and wanted a caterer in the neighborhood and went with Starship. They were GREAT!!! Good Service and Everbody loved the food....
