My cat Zoey is a 19 year old Persian, so she mats quickly. I used to brush her, which took care of her mats, but as she has gotten older the brush irritates her and she becomes cranky. On the phone I was told that the price would be between $50-$70. When the groomer saw how matted, skinny and old Zoey was she quoted me $65 (pretty reasonable). The owner was extremely informative and helpful. she placed Zoey on the table, demonstrated how she would shave her, explained how she thought she would look and the dangers of how the skin is paper thin and could easily be cut. Things which I knew, (as most animal lovers know) but I appreciated her knowledge. The groom did take a while, about four hours, but after I picked Zoey up she looked beautiful... a bit cranky, but mat free! My price was $65 as quoted and what is better is that after we got home Zoey pranced around the house like a princess!

This is the worst place you could ever take your pet. Upon making the appointment they told me it would be $43.00 unless the dog was matted which I told her he wasn't. Then she asked how old was the dog I told her w 9 months old and he was shiatsu. My husband took him in for his appointment and they asked how short and showed my husband the different lengths and he chose one (not to short). They also told my husband it would be $48.00 plus tax??? Well my husband didn't know what they had quoted me. When we picked him up they asked me what kind of dog? how old? I repeated everything to her but when I saw my dog he was cut like a poodle. They did charge the $48.00 plus tax I thought I just want to get home with my dog because he was shaking so bad. Got into the car and saw a cut by his eye that went from the inside corner about 1/2 inch done clearly done by the clippers. That evening my son took dog out to potty and found that they had cut his penis up by the tip clearly with a scissors. The next morning you could tell that it burned for this dog to go to the bathroom that he would shake every time he would urinate. He also kept putting his leg in the air and I discovered that there was another cut on the pad of his paw. My heart now is totally broken now that this 11 pound defenseless dog was cut up by someone I trusted to take care of him. I called the following morning at 5:30 and left a message. They called back on the following day. I wasn't home so I called her the next morning to talk to her about what happened and she denied cutting him wanted to see him 5 days later after the incident and after I treated his wounds with antibiotic cream they were pretty much healing. I told her that she said if I brought him in she could tell what kind of cuts they were. I told her I am a hairdresser and can tell her what kind they were. After a heated discussion she wanted to see him but only when she could see him because she had to get an IV??? She refused to give me back my money after she butchered my dog and kept telling me it wasn't about the money. She totally hacked his hair and she called herself a "professional groomer". They said they would clean his ears never done. Said is the worst save your animal and time and don't bring him there. I have pictures and witness to back up my claims.
