We ordered our burgers ( a 12 pack) and we ate them. I woke up with a sick stomach and Montezuma's began at 8 p.m.. I felt feverish. The owner was working, she is not as diligent about Servsafe as her employees. I called the male owner and was told as he had served 200 burgers sucessfully, with no one else sick, it wasn't his restaurant.? Everything I ate and drank came from ....Tuckers. The food is tasty.

CRAZY WOMAN! Avoid this place. Tucker's has sadly lost my business after thirty years. My husband and I occasionally head to Fond du Lac from the upper Fox Valley and enjoy the burgers. Today was an eye-opener to what the poor employees of the female owner must go through. Some sloppily dressed, dirty woman (she declared nastily that she was the owner) pushed a friendly young girl out of the way to take our order (like it was commission sales). When we asked for extra pickles and onions, you would think the world was coming to an end. She screamed and ranted about how expensive onions and pickles are and that we are lucky that we didn't get charged for them. No other burger joint charges for onions and pickles, but we were told repeatedly just how much of an inconvenience our presence was. . . even though there was just one lone customer in the dining room. I mentioned to her how nice I thought her husband was, not in a sarcastic way or anything. But that set her off on another bender about how she's such a bad person about wanting to charge extra for pickes. Pickles are expensive. Pickles are expensive. Being told once is quite enough. Is this woman broke or just simply in need of customer service training? Those poor employees were just cringing at how crazy she was acting; I feel sorry for them. The worst part is that the founder of Tucker's must be turning over in his grave. My parents knew him, and this is such a shame to his legacy. Customer service costs nothing; word of mouth is everything.
