I wasn't keen to the idea of having strangers come into our home at first. However, I was becoming increasingly more frustrated with the time required to care for my mom who has dementia. My family were being neglected and my work was being affected. I decided it was time to get some help. Brendan from Acacia Care came to meet with mom, me and my sister and listened well, then helped us come up with a plan for moms care. In just two short months, mom looks forward to her care provider Maria's visits, my husband and family see me more and I've not had to take any more time off work. Maria is very knowlegeable, caring and has given me good suggestions when I ask how she makes things seem so easy. I am very thankful for the help and recommended their services to two of my friends. Maria and Brendan have done a good job making sure mom is well cared for which has made my life and family less stressed. ~Jess G
