The owner of this store is a discredit to the antique store community and DOES NOT represent the spirit or the values of Flowery Branch, GA.
I came here with my 11 year old daughter and my Mom to shop. My daughter had trouble opening the front door and once we entered the store, the owner greeted my daughter by saying, “ Are you embarrassed?!” No, we didn’t get a hello, how are you? This woman started off being rude and uninviting.
As we continued shopping, my daughter picked up a paper rabbit and a wax apple candle. The owner then proceeded to call out loudly, “ Put that down please, it can break!” Seriously?! Those items are not breakable and my daughter is 11years old! She can handle things.
We left very disgruntled and offended. We will NOT be back and will spread the news in town that this woman/owner and her store are stuck up, condescending and rude to customers with children/pre-teens!

Visiting Sample Pleasures in Flowery Branch is a special treat for a lot of reasons. There are so many items to see. Some are antiques, and some are just unique. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with making selections. Plan to spend some time at Sample Pleasures and just enjoy!
