Dr. Shovlin has been practicing for over 20 years in the area where he grew up. He is a graduate of Lewisville High School and received a BA in Biology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He spent 4 years as a teacher in LISD prior to starting medical school. He graduated from Texas Tech School of Medicine in 1993 and completed Surgery residency at Texas Tech in Lubbock in 1998. He lives in Highland Village with his wife and family.
