Great Doctor supporting a very very rude staff. I was admitted to the hospital over the weekend for a gallbladder attach. When I called the esse health office@ 1225 Graham Road Florissant, MO 63031 to get an appointment the appointment person interrupted me twice while I was trying to explain my situation and rudely asked me “What can I do for you today?” When I started again I got the same thing again I was calling for an appointment I was talking to the person I got off their phone menu for appointments and she placed me in a queue to speak with a triage nurse without any explanation. I have been a patient of Dr. Boehmer’s since 1984. I can’t deal with the abuse from the esse health staff any longer no matter how good of a Doctor Dr Boehmer is I’m moving on. If you are looking for a decent experience at the Doctors office I recommend you look elsewhere. 1Human

I have been going to the same doctor at Esse Health for nearly 30 years. I adore the doctor, but I can't say the same for the staff. The practice that houses several physicians has grown tremendously in size and patients, but the service has gone down hill. One of the nurse practitioners really needs lessons on bedside manners. The lab technicians are unfriendly. You are lucky if you even get a "Hello" from them. However, one of the receptionists is friendly and efficient. Trying to speak to a human on the phone with the exception of making an appointment is impossible. Forget about trying to talk to a doctor, nurse practitioner, or even an assistant. I can't tell you how many times I have been switched to voice mails after voice mails. I am in the midst of searching for a smaller, more personal practice where I am not treated like cattle herding.
