Last week I decided I needed a new UK hoodie. I visited the Crestview Hills location. The gentleman working was nice and helpful. I looked around for a while and found the sweatshirt I wanted. Upon closer inspection before buying, I noticed that the seam on the hood was coming undone causing a hole in this brand new swearshirt. I alerted the gentleman working and he took it into the back to, I assume, place it with the detectives. I then decided to try a different style sweatshirt of the same brand that seemed to be better made. I pay and leave. Take the sweatshirt home and wash it before I wear it for the first time. I take the sweatshirt out of the dryer and, wouldn't you know, the seam connecting the neck and hood is coming undone causing a hole. At this point I am not feeling too confident about the quality of their products, so I decide to return it. I take it back to the store and am told that they do not accept returns, only exchanges. Really? I paid $50 for an offbrand UK sweatshirt because I wanted to support a local business owned by locals, and after seeing 2 of them fall apart, you will only let me exchange it for another cheaply made sweatshirt. Can't get my money back? Bottom line is you can get a nice name brand UK sweatshirt (Nike) anywhere for the same price that The Kentucky Shop sells cheaply made off brand ones. And have the ability to return it if you arent satisfied. I took another cheaply made sweatshirt because I had no other choice. So much for trying to support local
