Established in 1999, Linden Charter Academy has an enrollment of more than 650 students. It offers regular classes in language arts, history, geography, math, science and fine arts. The academy also offers special education classes that include speech, language and occupational therapies. It provides a range of extracurricular activities, such as painting, cheerleading, martial arts and choir. Linden Charter Academy operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts fundraising events and offers assistance with campus projects. Located in Flint, Mich., Linden Charter Academy is a part of National Heritage Academies, which operates more than 50 schools in Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New York, North Carolina and Ohio.
