Happy customer!

I've been a client here for many years, and I've always received excellent service from the doctor and his technicians. They do have one receptionist, the Latina, who always seems to be in a bad mood, but hey - that's just how some people are.

Busy but great!

Dr. Mac is great, but its hard to get an appt with him these days because they're so busy there. Wish they would hire a second vet!!!

I took all of my reptiles there on a multitude of occasions throughout 2012 and 2013. I have NEVER seen a veterinarian work better than Dr. Mac Kenzie. Because of this, he became the preferred vet for all four of my beardies. My eldest beardie is a 10 yr old boy who got an infection in his tail in 2013 and Doc Mack gave him the amputation needed to save his life for an incredibly affordable 120$ (euthanizing him would've been around 170$, if I recall). My beardie has been happy and healthy ever since without any further troubles, I highly recommend this establishment.

The staff is incredibly compassionate, and they always go out of their way to make sure my dog is comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Love Dr. Don!

Dr. Don is great. My dogs adore him. The prices are fair and we're always given ample time to talk to the doctor. No complaints here!!!

Dr. Dennis is FANTASTIC.

We've seen Dr. Dennis several times now, and each time we walked away feeling that she surpassed our expectations. She's patient, thorough and always answers all questions. She never makes us feel like we're being rushed in or out. She gives us her full attention every time, and it's fantastic. As far as the other staff members are concerned -- the nurses we've met have always been friendly and cheerful. The receptionists usually seem pretty harried and distracted, but always nice and accommodating. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!!!

Dr. Howerton is leaving?! Hallelujah!

Just found out that Dr. Cheryl Howerton is selling the practice to Dr. MacKenzie. This is possibly the BEST thing to happen to Alpine since it first opened!!! Doc MacKenzie is fantastic and I can't wait to see what he does with the place.

Depends on the doctor!

I've taken by pets to this clinic for a few years now, and I think the experience you have depends entirely on the doctor you see. Dr. Howerton is a nightmare -- she can't seem to make up her mind about what/how to treat, she is notoriously late/slow, and she's often very rude. Dr. MacKenzie, however, is a Godsend. He's patient and kind, very knowledgeable and confident in that knowledge, and he listens carefully and thoughtfully to my every concern. If I could post two reviews, I would -- Dr. Howerton would get ONE star and Dr. MacKenzie would get FIVE stars.
