I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! I'm one to ask lots of questions, and I have found the folks at Huntree to be super helpful, friendly, and knowIedgeable. They have a gorgeous selection of plants and their prices a very fair for the healthy high quality plants. I'm one to shop around and compare a LOT, but I keep finding myself going back to Huntree when it comes to making a plant choice to take home. Huntree has other fun things happening too- recently I had a really great time learning how to make a hypertufa birdbath from a big leaf! MANY THANKS to the great folks at Huntree! :) :) :)

I won't go back. The women...

I won't go back.

The women who work there are all really nice and very helpful. Selection is quite good - some big, beautiful plants, trees, and bushes. Prices are typical market prices - some a little higher than other places, but overall on par with prices elsewhere. Owner helped me get some mulch and was very friendly.

However . . . after spending close to $1000 there in a week, I went back and was buying a piece of statuary there for which I wanted a base. The girl helping me look for one called over the statuary buyer (a guy) who tried to sell me a statue base with one entire top corner broken off! When I pointed out the damage and asked if there were any similar bases that were undamaged. He snipped, "Well! There's one just like it over there, but that one is broken, too!" I said it would have worked out if not for being so noticeably broken, and he said in a b*tchy, biting tone, "WELL! I'm NOT coming DOWN on it!" - this followed by a hip shift and arms folded across his chest. I hadn't asked him to adjust the price. My point was I wasn't buying something broken. Then he tried to argue that he went to Italy once and they had broken statues there, too! -- Yeah, well . . . I can cut Italy slack for having statues from the 15th century that have a chip or two. A poorly made piece of concrete made 18 mos ago for sale at a local nursery is another matter.
