I've been debating for a long time now on whether or not to write this review. I've unfortunately come up with countless excuses as to why they never follow through.I hope you hear me when I say I'm not usually one to complain. I'd rather row the boat than rock it. However, I find myself consistently let down by The Reserve. Right from the beginning my hopeful expectations for The Reserve have taken a beating.I'll try to not be long winded but my let downs have been many.Positives: They are in a great location (the number one thing I like about them). I feel safe and at home; being a young, single female- this was important to me. Bring on the Bummers (aka Negatives):· From the get go I've experienced that The Reserve is very hard to contact. They never answer their phones or get back to people even when promising a return call a specific day.My move in date was planned for October 30th. They knew I was coming 1. Because I was calling every day (THEY KNEW ME BY NAME!) and 2. They signed and filled out my lease agreement.However, on the 30th, I was in route at 12pm when I received a call from Kelsey (my point person at The Reserve) asking me to move in at 6pm. I informed her that I was in route and only had one other person helping me who had to leave at 2pm. She then let me know that my apartment was not yet ready or clean... PAINT ON THE WALLS WAS STILL DRYING, THE FLOORS HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED, and THE BATHROOM TUB NEEDED TO BE RETILED. I told her my lease day was today. At that point I had no choice but to move into a construction site apartment. · The paint on the walls and cabinets was still wet. · I HAD NO BATHROOM DOOR! · My light switch in my room did not work. Therefore no light in my bedroom. · The garbage disposal was unusable due to SCREWS being inside it. · MY WASHER WAS NOT HOOKED UP · THE TOILET LEAKED ALL NIGHT and everywhere! · The paint job sucked! i.e.white patches/spots throughout my apartment that had been not thoroughly painted. Light covers were missing. · MY LIVING ROOM HEATER DIDN'T WORK · The bathroom sink had the gross fake spray on granite mixture all up on the sides of the ceramic that had not been scraped off. There was and still is a rusty orange spot in the bathroom sink. · They conveniently forgot to tell me when I was moving in that their "luxurious lower cabana" was being remodeled for the next 2 weeks.. 2 weeks has turned into 1.5 months. · My tub had and has a chunk missing from it that Kelsey did not write down in the walk through because it was something they were going to fix. HOW NAÏVE OF ME!I'm completely kicking myself... Like I said, in the walk through she didn't write down any of the blemishes/malfunctions because they were all things "that would be fixed." However, here I am 3 months in with the same things unfixed that I'm worried will come and bite me in the butt as my fault. · Once a guy came to fix my shower/tub. He knocked and entered at 8am without me having any idea he was coming. As I yelled through my bedroom door if he could come back in 30 minutes (as I was extremely disheveled, sick, and in pajamas), he did and when he saw me for the second time he said, "Oh you, they didn't tell you I was coming. You have to be gone for 6 hours."I'm constantly disappointed and frustrated by The Reserve. My apartment was a construction site when I moved in. No apology was given. No offered discount. They moved me in and it seems have now just ignored me since they have their money. And I was so good at constantly contacting them for a follow through. It's so discouraging.
