Recently I was late 3 days in a row because of a 7 am training course for my job and when I walked in with my child 15 mins late in front of her staff my child and other parents ms Leila began to yell at me as if I were her child . I accepted this horrible behavior and apologized as she called me disrespectful and an unfit parent in front of my child for being tardy. I began to get my daughter clearly upset in class and ms Leila and I met again where I asked her please don’t speak to me at anytime like that anything you need to address please pull me to your office . Leila then told me she can speak to me how ever She wants because it’s her school and to get my child and get out I got my child her and her friends since they were 2 years old stood in the hallway crying including teachers Ms Mona and Ms Andrea asking her to stop yelling and acting erratic I told her she was out of line I couldn’t take it my 7 year old is crying saying mommy I gotta leave my school ms Leila told my 7 year old yes and you and your mother don’t deserve to be here I was so upset I cried so did my daughter .we have been at this school since 2011 I always loved and respected the owner I have watched the decline of her program the high teacher turn over rate and lack structure change over the years it is no longer the school that our family has put several of our children in . I had no choice but to ask my father to intercede because where do you put your child in Feb/March of a school year so I agreed to her terms just to keep my daughter in her normal routine . Leila’s solution was to make me sign a paper stating I would never participate in any activity my daughter is in at school I couldn’t drop her off or pick her up I couldn’t come see her science fair her dance recital nothing forever ! she is punishing my daughter not me how do you think my child feels not having her mother to give her Praise and participate in her accomplishments as a second grader I warn you stay away

We have two children 11 and 6 years. Both were students of RedHill Montessori. 11-year old was with this school for 3 years and 6-year old was there for 4+ years. We live in Novi with about 15 miles away from this school. Both of our children are now in Northville public schools. Choosing this school for our children was one of the greatest gifts given to them. This school has provided best all-round curriculum that our kids can absorb. Both have received structured and well-organized academics and extra-curricular activities including Music, PE and field-trips. As parents, we have encouraged our kids to follow teachers' directions and complete Homework. That's all we did for our kids during their stay at RedHill (formerly Farmington Hills Montessori School). Both of our kids are doing great in Northville public schools with advanced-curriculum. Many thanks to Ms. Leila, Mr. David and others.

Our daughter LOVES to go to school!!! At 2 ½ years old she was reading books and has grown to be an even more confident and bright child. She even sleeps with her books. The teachers are amazing or in her words “I love my teacher, she’s my friend.” We recently moved back from Chicago and our daughter didn’t really know many people here, but since we enrolled her, she has blossomed socially. The one-on-one time that Ms. Leila devotes to each child—spending extra time to teach them to read and write is a wonderful asset to their development. Five other parents I told about this school, scheduled an appointment and has enrolled without delay. It is our greatest investment.

My experience at Red Hill Montessori has been enriching, rewarding, and pleasurable. The success of our school can be attributed to the hard work, commitment, and determination of the entire administration and staff. The school's emphasis on academics, discipline, and independence can be illustrated by the success of the students and the commitment from administration, staff and parents. Furthermore, Red Hill Montessori promotes health and fitness through all types of extracurricular activities, and by implementing a hearty and healthy lunch menu for the students. Red Hill Montessori will prepare each student for academic success for years to come.

He arrived at your doors a articulate, bright-eyed, somewhat shy 19 month old toddler. Your "golden keys" opened up the doors of knowledge and the joy of learning, and presented limitless possibilities for accomplishments during his early childhood development.

All I can say is WoW! Red Hill Montessori is an excellent school. My son has attended Red Hills for 3 years and I must say I am completely pleased with the education he is receiving. The teachers are very dedicated and nurturing to the students. They gently encourage all of the students to do their very best. That is why the students excel academically. In addition to all the successfully teaching going on at Red Hills, it possesses a family atmosphere that will give any parent comfort that their child will be cared for. Last, I must mention that the director, Leila Charleworth has a vested interest in the academic and emotional growth of all of the students. She personally listens to every student read and calls the parents just to see how the school year is going. Red Hill is a wonderful place for a child to be educated.
