I've brought in several knives, gardening tools and a tin snip at various times over the past couple of years, and the service has been prompt, friendly and well done. In May 2017 I brought in a b ally dulled tin snip and they called the next day to tell me it was done. They did a very good job on it.

0 stars I brought in a brand new white knuckle knife to get touched up. Now my kife is ground up I could of done better with a rock. Worst job I've ever seen. they must of used a 6 inch bench grinder with a course wheel. I asked if he could clean it up a little , nope that's how we do it he says. 0 personality prick is what he is. Absolutely the worst. Now I have to pay someone to fix there mess. I'm plum pissed.

Do not patronize! Terrible customer service! They had my item two weeks, didn't return my call, and when I stopped to pick it up because I needed to use the item, he quipped "use it dull then". When I asked if he even wanted my business, if he wanted me to bring it back, he said 'they were really busy.' When asked if he thought it acceptable to have something for two weeks without action, when a sign on the wall reads 'next day service', he simply said 'yes', pointed to the door, and sternly said 'goodbye'.

Warning stay away from this business!!! Worst business in the whole world!!!! They told me they would sharpen my two swords after having them for over 2 months they still didn't even start on sharpening them, and I had called them over 10 times to check on the status of the swords and they just kept blowing me off so finally I just said I wanted the swords back. Also they were very rude and didn't care about customer service at all. So when I got the swords back the business ruined the boxes and special bags the swords were having little metal shavings that I couldn't get out causing me to have to throw them away. Also had to clean my swords which took like a hours. So after waiting over two months and them ruining my bags and wasting my time. The Twin City Sharpening didn't even care, they did what they do best which is to ignore the costumer!!! Please beware!

Good work

I have been taking my knives here for years and I have been happy with the work they do. The turn around time is good. When I took a serrated knife in they were honest with me and said that it won't be exactly the same. It was really close and it was as good as new.

Great Service

Twin City Sharpening has thousands of satisfied customers who return and compliment on the service. The standard of service and quality of work is very high which has made them the largest and most complete sharpening business in a very large area. In business since 1984 in Fargo.

Dont take them your knife

My wife dropped off three knifes for me. Two straight blade and one serrated. I got all three blades back and the two straight are duller then when they went in and the serrated blade became a straight blade. Was told I was the only one that has complained about them destroying a serrated blade. I received a reimbursement for the cost of the knife (not knifes) sharpening and told they didn’t understand why I was upset. The serrated blade was a Cutco knife and they have said the blade is junk unless I just grind it more and make a straight blade out of it. Not a happy customer. Called other local knife sharpening shop and they say they fix many Twin city Sharpening disasters. Be warned.

They claim no one has complained. So I figured i would make it official.

The customer did bring in 3 knives. We explain that serrated knives cannot be duplicated except by the manufacturer. We grind them manually and hone them so they are sharp, but may look slightly different. The knives would shave hair when the customer picked them up but he seems unhappy about something. We try very hard to service our customers and have invested in the best technology to provide the best service possible. We have many thousands of happy customers who return year after year, and service professionals such as restaurants. I don't think there actually is another local business that sharpenes knives in house.
