Established in 1949, Budd Elementary School serves students from grades kindergarten through two. It employs more than 20 certified teachers and has an enrollment of over 350 students. It also employs teachers who provide services to students with special needs. The school s classrooms are equipped with computers, printers and Internet access. Its social service department assists students and families with social problems that interfere with the educational process. The school provides supplies, such as pencils, wipes, papers, binders, folders, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, erasers and tennis shoes. Located in Fairmont, Minn., the school also publishes a monthly newsletter. Budd Elementary School is a part of the Fairmont Area schools.
