I ordered firewood for delivery. When I called to place my order I told the person on the phone that they would have to get their truck through my gate to stack the wood. The delivery man arrived and seemed unaware of the gate. He then "measured" our gate and the front of his truck. The front of his truck was not the widest point and therefore the delivery man hit my gate taking a chunk of wood out of my gate and damaging the hinge. I left a message requesting a call back from the owner and never received a call. The delivery man damaged my property and never offered to do anything about it andI have found dead carpenter bees in my firewood. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

My family was gone on vacation May 31-June 7. When we returned we noticed damage to our landscaping shrubs, lawn and a dent on our gutter. We went up on the roof and noticed sticks all over the roof in this area. The ground under the gutters was littered with sticks. 2 of our bushes, a privet and rose of sharon were damaged with broken branches inside. There were sticks and twigs from a different tree lodged at the bottom of the privet. Some of the twigs had leaves from an unknown tree still attached. There were 2 areas of the lawn damaged also. The dent on the gutter is directly above the privet and the rose of sharon. We noticed our neighbor had a mature tree removed while we were on vacation. He said Hendel's Tree Service took the tree down. We told him it must have hit our roof and landscaping because the tree was directly across the street from our house. The neighbor told us he was at work when the tree was taken down but he suggested we call them. We called them on Monday June 9 and they sent a man out by the name of Greg on Saturday June 14. I talked to him and showed him all of the damage and he said they didnt know how it happened and they didnt do it. Greg said he was present for most of the time when the tree was taken down but wasnt there when the crew was finishing up. I would have called the police and filed a report but I thought the tree service would own up to the accident when I met with Greg on June 14. "If a tree falls while your on vacation it didn't happen". Unbelievable.

I wish you had the option to give zero stars. Had a tree removed at my home. My yard is destroyed. Truck driving in my yard placed ruts and instead of removing the tree in pieces they cut it down in one piece!! Leaving more damage. When you contact the company you receive horrific customer service. They do not answer questions and just state, "ummm let us get back to you". Then NEVER CALL BACK!! The owner is a 20 something rude kid that is easy angered and has no issue cursing to you on the phone. Absolutely horrible experience. Then they send the bill with a customer satisfaction survey and people to recommend!! Really!!

Hendel's recently removed a large tree from my neighbor's yard. In the process they cut my phone line and my neighbor's cable line without permission, which is illegal. They dropped huge limbs into my yard destroying my lilac bushes, which is illegal. They landed a large limb onto my other neighbor's new roof, also illegal. The police officer said it was a civil case, not criminal, so there was nothing she could do. When they dropped the trunk, they did it in one piece and the customer's yard is pretty much destroyed.



In addition, they were quite rude. I'd strongly advice finding a different service provider.
