Do not take your vehicle here they will rip you off. I've been getting my oil changed in Mount Vernon for the past year for $41 in my current vehicle. Never had any problems until I moved to Fairfield and decided to take it to jims custom automotive. First off, they tell me that I came in with a stripped out oil plug which I find highly unlikely. They could have just owned up to it and told me they made a mistake but whatever it was $7 not a big deal. Then they hand me the bill, $71! Just for an oil change! I've never paid more than 45 bucks for an oil change in my entire life for a small car. I started reading the invoice and it says the oil was $30, the oil filter was $15, and labor $15. Plus the "already stripped out oil plug" $7 and tax. So nothing I could do except pay the bill even though the secretary was very rude. Needless to say I will not be going back and I recommend you don't either.
