My husband and I just wasted an hour of our day attempting to purchase a gift from our friends baby registry. We specifically chose this toys r us location because online, it listed all of the baby's r us items we were considering from the registry as available there. Upon arrival we printed the registry and went to the suggested aisles to look at our options in person. the first 5 items were not in stock and it took us roughly 15 minutes to get a store clerk to check their system. When it became clear an item wasn't in stock instead of just telling us he kept finding and offering alternative items that were completely different specs or styles. Finally the manager offered a 20% discount on any items online but would only have them deliver within 7-9 days. If it had been 1 or 2 items, I could have understood the lag or error in inventory but we checked over 15 items and all were listed in the store stock but couldn't be found. Completely unacceptable service. I will never register or encourage registry at baby's r us based on the poor performance of their inventory system and completely understaffed mega-stores.

They need to remove that comment from their recording. After 10 minutes waiting for them to answer I was disconnected. Apparently they don't want my business. Well done. No stars
