Great pool people to do business. Make no mistake building a pool is like building a house as it is emotional and a bit slower than one would like as it depends on weather and a lot of other things. Sandy was there every step of the way and made sure things were done right. I am very (too) detailed and really appreciated Sandy's effort managing the pool build. In fact Sandy was going over my equipment at the end and pointed out a few things he wanted to fix. Candidly I had no idea and wasn't asking. He just wanted it right. I feel he stands by his word and is an honest guy and I am hyper sensitive to this kind of thing. The other nice thing about Huston pools is they use better specs/equip so you get more for your money. Tile choices are endless. Coping was top shelf. Puts a lot of little touches like tile on the steps and benches. Upgrades are fairly priced. Sandy also doesn't upsell and in fact does the opposite. Sandy does not price the pool based on the car you drive or house you live in.



BTW I am sure I drove Sandy a bit crazy in the process however he was always very decent to deal with and they delivered exactly what they committed to. I have no complaints though our pool has only been up and running for a short time now though it looks beautiful.

Great company! Our pool construction went smoothly. Cynthia is great at scheduling and keeping us informed about the schedule. One of the only construction companies that we actually enjoyed working with. Nice people.

We had our pool built by Huston last year. We love it! It's beautiful and the project was done in a reasonable amount of time and we stayed within our budget. We interviewed Town & Country, Lewis Aquatic and NVBlu. We just didn't click with any of them and they didn't seem interested in our project. Sandy did a great job in working with us. We've already referred two of our friends to Huston. Happy, happy, happy customer.

We had a swimming pool built by Huston Pools last year. They did a great job and we're very happy with our pool. We live in Fairfax County, which required us to have a grading plan submitted for our pool permit. Mr. Huston was the only person that we talked to who seemed to know how the process worked and what it took to get the permit approved. It took three weeks to get our permit and four weeks for Huston Pools to build our pool The design is beautiful, not your traditional rectangle, and we love it! They're an honest and fair company.

Yesterday I drove in heavy Northern Virginia traffic out of my way to your retail store to have my water analyzed and to buy pool chemicals. Before I left I verified your location and hours on your web site. When I arrived at your location there was a note on the door saying that you now close at 5:00PM. I checked this AM and your web site still states you are open until 7. This is unprofessional and you wasted my time. My email advising you of this situation went unanswered. I was unable to submit this review with no stars, so they received one.

This is the best contractor I've ever dealt with. I've had two pools built by them and I do recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors. They're always responsive, polite and do what they say they're going to do. When we had numerous changes to our second pool, Huston Pools was more than accomodating in helping us achieve the look we wanted for our backyard. Their prices are fair and they're honest people. They have a nice showroom where we were able to pick our our coping stones and beautiful interior on our pool. They're GREAT!

I can not recommend Huston Pools. We had numerous equipment malfunctions and operational headaches in dealing with them. Plus they lied to me on several occasions. They did try to fix most problems but only after calling them multiple times... for each problem. Otherwise, I doubt they would have fixed anything. There's no sense of urgency for them to get things done with the exception of picking up check payments which they perform like clockwork. Unless you like to micro manage a project and have patience for broken parts, wrong sizes, scheduling delays, ignored messages, argumentative staff and overall lackadaisical attitude towards customers then I would go with someone else.
