About e-CAD-IT e-CAD-IT was started in 1997 as part-time business while the owner, Daryl Stockton, worked for a large utility company as their CAD manager. After his retirement from the utility in 2003, Daryl went full time with e-CAD-IT providing CAD services to a number of residential contractors as well as engineers, architects, and homeowners. His 30 years with the utility industry provided an education in construction and civil/utility projects as well as giving him a start with computer aided design ( CAD ). Since starting e-CAD-IT he has worked with firms as a CAD designer as well as a CAD Manager and IT support. Daryl has also drafted preliminary designs and construction documentation on a variety of residential projects for local contractors and homeowners. These projects range from front porches and decks to complete custom house plans. We can coordinate with a structural engineer on any project requiring engineering support and review. Daryl has been working with Autodesk software since 1992. He has extensive experience with AutoCAD, Raster Design, and the Autodesk BIM product Revit Architecture.
