The case worker assigned to me was rude, unprofessional, and did not pay attention to details as he prepared the paperwork needed to verify my eligibility for services. He attacked me verbally and loudly. I felt physically intimidated by his actions and would never recommend using this site. When his supervisor attempted to intervene, it took several minutes for this man to stop behaving like a youngster having a temper tantrum. I have never seen anything like this and have every intention of filing a formal complaint whether i get assistance or not. This ridiculousness was prompted by my frustration at the limited options available for someone who is not paid hourly. He took my frustration personally, seemed to resent my education level, and slandered my ability to do my job, while not doing his, at a volume that was inappropriate, intimidating, and unnecessary. Do NOT expect good customer service at this Neighborhood Place location. Less than 1 star.

I think that the receptionist is a very rude person she has a really nasty attitude towards people and I'm tired of everytime I go there for something they are always closed or it's too late to turn paper work in when it will only be 2 in the afternoon. They said that they close at 4:30pm but when you look them up it says they close at 5pm and then again they won't let you even See anybody there after 2pm. So what is it do they close at 5pm 430 Pm or 2pm get it together there people really

I came in to apply for emergency foodstamps because we're struggling pretty bad.. I had a lot to do today so I got there a couple minutes before 2pm, which is the cutoff for applying.. But when the receptionist called me up at 2:03pm & asked what I needed, she said I was to late & that I did not get there before 2. When I tried telling her it was only 2:03 & I definitely was there before 2 she very rudely dismissed me & wouldn't give me the time of day.



The neighborhood place is there to help people in need, so if your receptionist is so miserable with her own life & doesn't want to help people, my advice is that she finds a new job. Her rude & hateful attitude is inappropriate & unprofessional. It reflects INCREDIBLY POORLY on you!! Your clients have enough to worry about, we don't wanna deal with your employees crap too!!!!
