We were there for a yukon quest canoe race. The owner told us that we could not have dogs there after 4pm. We were outside, our dog was sleeping. It was 7pm when she came & confronted us w/ a terrible attitude. When I told her our dog was a service dog, she yelled at us "no she fucking isn't!"....I know my rights as a disabled person with a service dog. She (Natalie neubauer) was extremely rude to us & demanded paperwork. She had no clue about the questions she is legally allowed to ask. We had just been participating in this race & of course didn't have paperwork on us (which is not legally required). She completely discriminated against us, as I've seen other dogs there many times after 4pm. Also, my friend did not have her ID & the bartender served her anyway, he looked very young & the bartender did ask for it, but because she thought she knew me (we had never met) we "convinced" her to serve her anyway. The owner not only was incredibly rude and disrespectful, but she violated the American Disabilities Act. This place needs to be shut down.
I'm extremely offended by the owner of this "establishment". I wrote a negative review on FB and they deleted it. They didn't respond, explain themselves or apologize. This makes it clear that they know what they did was wrong and are being very cowardly. My original post was about how they kicked us out because we had a service dog and how rude the owner was to us. I cannot stress enough to everyone: Do not go there! I do not want anyone else to be treated with such disrespect and discrimination. I've been told by a lot of other people that they allow dogs there (if they know them).We were perfectly good customers and we were outside with our very well behaved dog sleeping next to us. I have been working in the food service and bar industry for 15 years and would never treat a customer so badly, nor have I ever been treated this way. The owner & the bartender broke the law with ADA & ABC violations.
