I called to make an appointment to get my hair done on my wedding day in July, and the girl that answered the phone gave me a price of $70. I booked the appointment, and she promised me that the bridal coordinator would call me the next day (which she never actually did). During the next few days, I talked to my bridesmaids and they all said that they would like appointments as well. I called Avante again to schedule those appointments and discovered that they had booked me for JUNE instead of July (which would have been a total disaster!!). Not only that, but the bridal coordinator told me that my hair would cost $95 to do!!! She said that my bridesmaids would be $70 each. I tried to explain to her that the original appointment I had made was for $70, and that I didn't want anything complicated done with my hair. The coordinator flat out refused to budge on the price and insisted that she would "fix" the problem and talk to the person that booked my appointment. She didn't, however, fix anything at all because she wouldn't honor the price originally given to me. I still can't understand why they would charge the bride $25 more than the bridesmaids. That's just super ridiculous! She was madder at her staff than she was that I was getting ripped off!! Stay away from this place!!! They are really incompetent!!!

Loved my hair color and cut. The stylist was very friendly and knew exactly what would look good even though I wasn't sure what I wanted. The entire staff was very nice and made my first time there very welcoming. Will definitely be back soon!!

To color your hair they charge $90. If you do not get it cut they charge an extra $30 to dry it. Who ever heard of such a thing. they do not tell you this until you check out. You also can not leave a tip on your credit card so you need to make sure you bring cash. Not very customer friendly. They always run late and take way to long for what you come in for. Inside is shabby and never has a lot of customers.
