My bf and I never know where to go eat, especially in Ewa. I read the other review using my iphone (how cool is that) and decided to eat here. We didn't even know it existed or where it was. It's located next to that Martial Arts Academy on Fort Weaver. The restaurant itself is nothing special. It would be really nice if they worked on the atmosphere. It felt really quiet outside of the people there. I'd say there were about 15 tables and 6 were filled when we got there. With one person waiting on all the tables, the service was a little slow. The food was good though. i ordered the salmon teriyaki with tempura and sashimi and all was very tasty. He ordered the wafu steak, which he ordered medium rare, but it came cooked all the way through which was disappointing to him. The total bill was about $27, which was reasonable to me and I am happy to support businesses such as that one. I'd give it 4 stars, but instead will give 3 for the ambiance.

We've eaten twice at Restaurant Saito and really enjoyed their delicious, reasonable food. The family style Japanese food is prepared very nicely, we loved the Wafu Steak and the Ginger Ahi dishes especially! The sashimi was nice too. Highly recommend for good, cheap, Japanese food.
