I did not like anything about my experience at this location

During a recent visit, I attempted to explain that my cell phone was not working; before I could complete my concern, a salesperson interrupted me and rudely stated, "you either need a new battery or a new phone." I stated I had insurance and my phone was less than a year old and should still be under warranty; the salesperson replied, well you will still have to pay the $50 deductible, even if it's still under warranty. I assumed I would be referred to a repair technician. But I wasn't. I left and explain the situation to a Verizon Customer Service Rep; he explained the sales person did not follow proper procedure and if the phone was still under warranty, I should have been given a new phone.
