I've spent a fortune at this vet, but it's because other vets did not do a thorough job of examining my dog's teeth and the problem got really bad because it was not properly diagnosed. Although expensive, Dr. Altman does a thorough job. While we were away on vacation, my older dog got very sick. Dr. Altman saved her life. I will continue to go to Mountain Parks Vet because I think they do a very thorough job even if they are more expensive than some of the other local options.

One word: FLEAS. It's Colorado in the middle of a severe drought and my dogs have not spent time anywhere else. I have no choice but to assume the FLEAS came from this wretched place. First of all, even though you're already paying for boarding, they charge you extra for doggie day care if you want your dogs to get out of their cage once in a while. We learned that they had spent every second trapped inside while other dogs got to go out and socialize. Second, the woman at the front desk was rude and, well, pretty dumb.Third, they were closed for a holiday and wouldn't let us take our dogs home even though there was staff there. And then this FLEA problem. Well, needless to say we will NEVER go back to this place and will warn others against it.

I have not been a client of Mountain Parks Veterinary Hospital (until now). But I have been using their daycare and boarding facility. The attention my 2 dogs get at the boarding facility is incredible to the point that my dogs go crazy in the car when we drive by; they want me to let them go play!! Last week my dogs were boarding there and one got a little sick. Dr. Altman checked my dog over at no charge and gave him a little medicine and he was all better. I couldn't believe it. When I picked up my dogs Dr. Altman was there to talk to me. Mountain Parks Veterinary Hospital is very professional and the comfort of having a veterinarian onsite with a boarding facility is tremendous. Thanks you guys and you have a new client!!

Do not be fooled by their boarding prices. I was stuck boarding my dogs there after waiting too long to reserve somewhere better over a holiday weekend. The base price (which isn't much lower than other places in town) only includes feeding and sheltering your dog. You have to pay an extra $20-some per day if you want them to get any attention or socialization. They claimed to be closed on the holiday with no option to retrieve your dog on the holiday, EVEN THOUGH STAFF WAS THERE TO FEED THE DOGS and run that day's doggie day care (which, of course, you have to pay extra for)! The front desk woman was rude and quite clearly an idiot. I did not feel comfortable leaving my kiddos there, but had little choice. MY DOGS WERE NOT HAPPY or tired when they came home from this place. They couldn't wait to get out of there.

Having just moved here, I was nervous about finding a good Veterinarian. After researching several, I decided to go to the one that was closest to my home. My dog had recently injured herself and I needed for her to be seen right away. Luckily for me, they squeezed her in between appointments!I must say I was very impressed with the friendliness of the entire staff! Dr. Altman was absolutely terrific! He really was thorough, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I could see he was rather busy but he never made us feel rushed and we appreciated his upfront diagnosis and recommended treatment. We will definitely stick with Mountain Parks Veterinary Hospital and will update reviews as it goes. For sure - two thumbs (and four paws) up!

Unfortunately, every time we walked in the door the staff and owner just saw $$$. Could not have cared less about the animal. After we found a caring and not all about the money vet, we returned to Mtn Park to have a (paid) test run, and they refused to run the test since we were seeing another vet. That's really caring about the animal. My advice, find someone who cares about more than just making money.

I visited this hospital yesterday with my dog and cat. I was amazed to learn what a thorough exam really is. Dr. Altman actually examined both my pets from nose to tail and it took more than the standard minute other veterinarians have taken to examine my pets! Dr. Altman has a wonderful touch with animals and answers all questions clearly and patiently. If you want to experience what a vet hospital should really be, check out this hospital.

I have been a client of Mountain Parks Veterinary Hospital for several years now. Without a doubt this is the best hospital I have ever visited (and I have been to a few over the years). Dr. Altman and staff are unbelievably kind and compassionate. I could not believe that I actually found a doctor that gives out his cell phone number for clients to reach him when their pet is not feeling well. Dr. Altman is the most thorough veterinarian you will ever meet. I am also thankful how involved Mountain Parks Veterinary Hospital is with the Evergreen community. They are truly amazing.

My dogs are very old and require a gentle special touch. They get great care and service at Mt Parks. When they were younger they loved Adventure Camp one even learned to swim!!

Mtn Parks has convinced us they are unbelievably greedy and it's all about the money for them. Clearly don't care about their patients. We've left them and found a more competent, more caring and much less expensive vet in Conifer.
