Evansville is very fortunate that after 3 years of refining his barbering craft in Liverpool, UK, Kale Viehe came back home to open his first barber shop - V Bar. I first met Kale in November 2006 when I walked into his shop to inquire if knew how to "cut a gentlemen's fade . . ". He responded - "i'm "sick" with fades . . .*. Confirmed - Kale has consistently given me the best damned hair cuts ever and for the past 6+ years. He has combined his unmatched barbering skills while providing the highest quality service in the most unique barber shop environment in the Midwest . . . from the brick walls, wooden flooring, accent lighting, hip music and videos via flat screen and a complimentary expresso, cappuccino or cafe latte served up from an automated Italian made machine! V Bar raises the "Bar" for all barber shops. Everytime I get my hair cut I walk away feeling like a million dollars. Any shop can give you a cut, V bar thows in relaxation free of charge, and you cannot buy that at any other shop in the Tri-State. From classic flat tops to modern cuts and colors V Bar does it all. I highly reccomend the V Bar to anyone old and young they will really make you feel like a VIP.

now when you think of barber, you might think of a place to sit down and get your hair cut or a nice shave where a bunch of old men are sitting around telling their life stories or playing chess or something of that nature. well this place is the complete opposite.people of all ages can go here just for a simple trim to getting the latest style in hair cutting. this place offers free beverages and a projection screen television so while your waiting, you can sit back and sip on a nice hot cup of amazing coffee while watching your favorite movie, or you can even play video games, they offer a nice assortment of music that you can listen to or if you just like to read they also have a great selection of magazines for you to choose from. now to the most important part, the hair cut. like i said you can go for a simple trim or be daring and go for the latest syle of hair cut. kale, the owner, is a master at cutting hair he can tell you what looks good and what dosent, and if you cant think of a certain way you want it cut he has the hook up. all he has to do is take a quick look at your head and he will have you looking as fresh as a new pair of shoes, from my personal expirence ive had major luck with the ladies, they go crazy for the way he cuts hair. his shop offers a wide selection of american crew grooming products for men and trust me when i say his products are the best i mean it. once you go here you will never go back to your old barber and thats a gaurentee.

After moving to Evansville from Chicago, I always miss the big city life. Evansville is often conservative with everyone doing the same old thing. Walking into VBarber for the first time, I could tell they really had something unique going on. A great urban atmosphere with exposed brick walls and hardwood floors, great refreshments and some of the most entertaining people in town. There is always great music playing and don't forget to challenge Carolina to a video game or the wooden puzzle race. Have I mentioned what a great hair cut the guy gives? My best man and I went there on my wedding day to get my hair done and for an old fashion shave. It was such a great way to start the day.
