We have devoted ourselves to accommodating and serving our customers with the best moving help. Vic & Lonnie first meet through a mutual friend. Lonnie was born and raised in the Eugene/Springfield area, while Victor was from Las Vegas, NV where entertainment is known to be king, and the upbringing is fast & fierce. In comparison,; Eugene wasn't (and still isn't) as quick of a place to live. However, Vic made his presence known fast in the town of Eugene/Springfield with his gift of gab, which set him apart from other moving services in the area. Clients really liked his communication and kind help figuring out their situation, no matter the deed, he gave it his best. Our clients really enjoy the personal touch we provide for what is normally a very stressful necessity that every person eventually has to deal with: moving their household goods. However, in this day and age, means of dictating evolutionary pace are quickly being inundated by advances in AI and technology. At WDA Movers, we embrace these great tools of artificial intelligence and technology alike. The means of Information Exchange is quickly advancing. Although back then, Information was shared through another already prevalent medium... Music. We all shared a love for Music (Remember it's 2003). Before Facebook & the whole social media take-over, most friends gathered around Music & Entertainment, we were no different. . In 2008, We became roommates for a short time and we continued to support each other through thick and thin. Although we had our own world perspectives and varying backgrounds, we tolerated one another and learned to work & communicate with each other. In 2011, Lonnie went back to school to earn an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Culinary Arts & also in Computer Programming. Also that same year, Lonnie met his future wife and started a family. Lonnie & Vic still stayed in touch over the years. In 2015, Victor ventured out on his own and established a fantastic reputation on platforms such as Yelp and Facebook. By offering his services on these platforms, customers were able to spot-check him, and he was able to grow exponentially as a result. He grew the once-personal contracting service into what is now known as WDA Movers, LLC In 2016, Lonnie graduated from college with a Computer Programming Degree. Victor quickly gaining recognition around town and with word of the great service spreading fast about his Moving Company. Victor needed help & Lonnie was eager to put his newly learned coding knowledge to the test. So the Moving Company Partnership was formed. Over time, our Hard-Earned Impeccable Reputation got the attention of the "Powers That Be". So, in June 2020 through the Fantastic Help and Extremely Valuable Sacrificed Time of Lonnie's Wife Stephani Day - WDA Movers became an LLC. Which at the time was especially hard to do because of COVID-19. Lonnie and Victor's story is a testament to the power of friendship, collaboration, & oh yeah, blood, sweat, and tears. Their shared vision, great resilience and determination enabled them to achieve their dreams and make a difference in the world around them. It shows that with hard work and the support of good friends, anything is possible.
