I went into this new store yesterday i was not greeted when i walked in all i heard was oh no being a first timer in this store i was so disappointed stood there for about 5 minutes nobody asked me anything there phone rang they got up and answered still nobody said anything to me i ealked out never to return or recommend this business to anyone.

Today I decided to walk into Tips and Toes to check out the space and their prices (they are pretty standard in cost) and I am so glad I did! My first impression of the place from the outside was curious because they have blinds up in the windows to keep passersby from looking inside into the salon as people are having services done. When I walked into the salon, I was delighted to see how beautifully decorated, bright, and clean the space was. I was immediately greeted and helped by Doan, who owns the salon with his wife, and shown the gel polish selection. I decided to go with a classic french manicure with gel polish. Doan was friendly, conversational, and very meticulous with my fingernails, it was refreshing to have that kind of positive experience! I sometimes feel awkward getting my nails done in salons, having nothing to talk about with the nail tech and finding myself sitting in an awkward silence. My experience was not like this one bit. In fact, it was quite the opposite. I felt very comfortable in the salon and haven't seen a place as clean and well decorated as this in Eugene, ever (and I'm from here so that's saying a lot). I appreciated that I didn't have to ask Doan to correct the polish that got messed up after I bumped my nails (he did it without being asked, and didn't just paint over it like many places I have been do). He took his time and did a very good job. I am very happy with my freshly painted manicure and will definitely be returning for many more!
