River Road Park & Recreation, located in Eugene, Ore., offers a wide range of recreational facilities and services. It has various facilities, including a pool, fitness and community centers, and the Emerald park. Its Emerald park facility features more than 9 acres of wooded area, playground, wading pool, picnic tables and shelters, basketball court, multipurpose playfield and jogging trail. It also offers park shelters on rent. It additionally has a gymnastics center that provides courses in dance skills of gymnastics, such as turns, leaps and extensions, alignments, ease of motion and performance techniques. The gymnastics center offers special classes to students participating in the Olympics.
