Employees are so intent on moving through the store quickly that they shove carts into customers, move hand trucks into aisle without looking first, etc. Got accidently punched in chest when cashier suddenly swang arm behind her without looking in order to hand something to another employee. Cashiers and "cart loaders" break eggs, and so poorly load customer carts that items are often damaged or fall out of cart. Attitude is poor throughout store..."get out of my way and get your stuff out of here". No thank yous, no manners, no professional courteous service. I imagine this comes from management downwards to the floor employees. We are executuve members and are considering terminating our membership. Shopped at the Roseburg Costco once and had a very good experience. Eugene store needs management overhaul. Rather than whipping floor employees into a mindless frenzy to run an overly busy store, how about extending store hours and opening up earlier for business and executive members to do their business shopping. If this store does not improve it's operations and quit treating customers like cattle,they will lose customers like my husband and myself who demand to be treated with some respect and have a safe place to shop. Costco Eugene is headed to a lawsuit when the next customer us injured by an employee moving stacks of boxes 20 feet high through a crowded aisleway.

Horrible. Bought Kirkland Hearing Aids for $1900. Took them home, they sounded tinny and distorted, and worse, they hurt my ears. (I've been wearing Beltone hearing aids for 9 years so I'm familiar with hearing aids.) I went back to their office two days later and asked for smaller domes--the parts that go into the ears. They changed them but were irritated at me, said usually people just wait for their follow up appointment. I said, "They hurt too much, can't wait for the appointment." Went home. Two days later I took them back, returned them, because they were so uncomfortable. No problem, they gave me my money back. I called them about a week later to get an appointment to find a pair that would work for me. No problem, they scheduled me and I went in today. The audiologist programmed a pair, we discussed how it was different from the other brand, discussed options, I tried them out in the store. Came back and said they were ok. She says, "Well I'm going to have to get permission from the manager to sell you a pair. Come back Monday and I'll let you know if we can sell to you since you returned the other pair so quickly." I said, "But your contract says I can return them within 30 days." "Yes, but you returned them after just a few days." "Because they hurt my ears! What was I supposed to do??" She says, "Well I'm sorry but I can't sell them to you until my manager gives me permission. We were discussing this before you even came in." We went back and forth--I kept saying that the contract allows you to return them, I returned them, what was I supposed to do? And she kept saying but you returned them so quickly...So beware, People, you'd better like the first pair of hearing aids they sell you because apparently they will be the only pair you get to try. Don't believe their "return within 30 days" statement. She told me they have to destroy the pair I returned so they're not going to just let me buy a pair until I'm "sure I'm ready for hearing aids." I've been wearing them almost 10 years! What a racket. I told her I'd buy them somewhere else and left. Better to pay more and not get screwed around.
