I went to Aaron's to rent a recliner bcuz I had a knee injury. They had one that was returned and they "discounted " it but I still would have paid over $500 for it. When it was delivered, I found it was broken, the leg rest would not go down. I called them and reported it and was told I would get a "replacemet" in a week. Then I got a call that said 2 weeks, which would have been Wed, Aug 26. I never heard from anyone and no chair was delivered. When I complained to them and told them to come and get their broken chair, he manager told me I would get a call from "Mark", the salesman but I never did. Do not buy from these guys. I am 66 years old and I guess they thought they could scam an old lady. I am going to take this farther and see if there is a law that covers this situation and I'm also going to go up the chain of command till someone makes me happy. This site is making me give them a rating. I would give them a minus zero but that is not an option., neither is half a star which is more than they deserve.

This store is the worst of the local "Rent to own's". They are quick to sign you up with a contract but they're service goes to hell the moment you sign. I have used the local Rent-a-center in the past but they didn't have a recliner that I wanted so I tried Aarons thinking they would be the same, my mistake... I have broken items in the past (that were totally my fault I must admit) and Rent-a-center would help me to find the cheapest place to fix it or in some instances just replace it in the spirit of great customer service, Aarons told me and I quote "You broke it so don't think you can get out of paying for it"... I was asking if they had a vendor that could help me repair it on my dollar... Overall they were extremely rude and quite obviously don't care about anything after the contract is signed. I would strongly recommend Rent-a-center or saving your money to buy what you are looking for at a decent price somewhere else..
