for the most part I've had favorable shopping experiences at value home center. was at the buffalo rd. store recently and found the manager named jeff to be somewhat put off when I dealt with him. he seemed as though he didn't have time to deal with me. the associates and managers I have dealt with before at VHC were always polite and very helpful. maybe he was just having a bad day but my impression was he seemed hurried and my business was of low priority to him.

I tried to send a comment to your Buffalo based site on line but needed to provide an e-mail and I don't want to do that. A manager at your Harbor Creek store is the reason I'm writing you. I went to their store recently looking for some lawn care supplies and this person happened to be nearby and I explained to him what I wanted to do and what products would best fit my needs. He had absolutely no idea what I should use on my lawn and was no help whatsoever. Furthermore he didn't offer to send anyone over who maybe could have helped. Did find an associate and he fixed me right up. I asked them what the manager's name was and they said it was Jeff. Just thought you'd want to know.

The person I'm complaining about has dark brown hair and wares glasses. He has worked there less than one year and is about 50 years old. I came in looking for a weed trimmer and approached him since he was nearby. I explained the type of job I had in mind and asked which trimmer might best fit my needs. He wasn't too certain and said he would get an associate to help me out. That would have been fine but I waited about 15 minutes and nobody showed up. It wasn't particularly busy so I couldn't understand what the problem was. I saw him appear nearby and asked if someone was going to help me and he responded by saying " An associate will be there in a few minutes " . Well needless to say I waited another 10 minutes or so and nobody came by. I then proceeded to leave the store.
