Thieves/Rip-Off Butchers!!!

OLSON'S ARE THIEVES..........RIP-OFFS!!! They stole a lot of elk I had brought in for butchering in Nov. 2009. Missing a tenderloin and about 30 packs of steaks. They deny any wrongdoing but kept saying that I couldn't prove anything. The elk was in perfect condition (cool temp, no hair, not bloodshot)and was HUGE--- a lot of meat. Return was SKIMPY AND STOLEN BY OLSON'S MEATS. DON'T GO THERE!

Olson's is worth traveling to

I have been buying my Beef and snacks from them for over 8 years now.. I didn't know they were there before or would have started earlier.... They are the best..... They have the best quality, selection and price for fresh local grown beef... The staff is so helpful with suggestions and even recipes because they are knowledgeable and family owned... I wouldn't go anywhere else and I live near Renton, it is worth the Saturday drive for me anytime...My husband also brings his game in after hunting for processing,, they cut, wrap and make the best jalapeno-cheddar deer pepperoni... I highly recommend them; the Olson Family has got it together.

OLSON'S MEATS ARE ELK THIEVES!!!

I am an elk hunter. I got my elk this year through tons of hiking, and patience and persistence. Rifle hunting. I hiked in 5 miles and shot a real nice 4x4 bull elk. Packed him up hill from 250 yards deep in a canyon. I took the meat to a place I've never been to before for butchering: OLSON'S MEATS between Enumclaw and Auburn. It was a quick lung and neck shot. The meat was super clean when I brought it in. MYSTERIOUSLY when I got my cut and wrap back I was missing one full tenderloin and only got 8 packs of steaks. Where's the other tenderloin? Where's the other 25 packs (conservative estimate) of steaks? The owner, Greg Olson, is a THIEF. He denies any wrongdoing and said I can't prove a thing. I would not go there again. I would not recommend this shop to anybody. Missing possibly 100 lbs. of cut/wrapped grade A meat at $20/lb for the going rate of farm raised elk meat (which, incidently, they sale, to the best of my knowledge)............Ah Ha!!! But for the paying consumer....who

Simply awesome!

I refuse to buy meat anywhere but Olsons since I started coming to them. You just don't find such quality anywhere else. I can come in not sure what I"m looking for, ask them for a recommendation, and I walk out satisfied w/ both the quality and price. Don't see what you want in the meat case? Just ask the friendly staff behind the counter- bet they have what you want! My family and I go camping all the time and share various meats that we have gotten from the Olsons. I now have my friends coming to Olsons to buy meat and they can't stop raving how good it is.
