My in laws took their lawn mower to Collins and spent $350 for it to still run like crap! Would not recommend them ever!

Always friendly and helpfull when I go or call. Don't always have the part but they tell me how long to get it and how much. They are very competitive on most of the parts I have called for.

My husband and I called around to see who could look at our generators. This was the closest place to us. We dropped it off and called a week later. They told us it was the ccobirator. The called us a week later to find out if we had any information on the generator because they did not look for themselves. We did not. We called three weeks later to check on it and nobody had any information for us. We went up there and it took them 15 to 30 minutes to find our information. Then they finally decided to try to order the part. The lady told us it would be 55 dollars and three more days. We told them to give us back our generator. We got it back taken apart. The place was very messy. I do not even know how they stay in business.

Deja vu . This is the same thing they did to me but worse. They told me that it would take a day or so due to them not being busy. almost three weeks and hundreds of dollars later. I was screwed, to start with a week after i dropped ot off I went there to see about it and they lady (wife) of the owner said that they did not have the partm while I was there she started looking on the internet to order it. After looking she told me that it was on back order for 3 weeks or more. I got the part number went home and in a few min' i had the part ordered at the cost of 135 bucks. Gave them the part, they said they would put it on, well when they did not in a timly manner I went to get my mower, the man said that the mower was torn apart and I could not crank it to load it. I gave in and left it with them. The 135 dollar part did not fix it so they told me it was something else which is what i told them was wrong with it start with. told me it would cost 50 bucks for the part. I told them I would get the mower and fix it myself he said that it would cost me the same amount if they put the other part on or not. well i gave in again. when i went to get it about three weeks later the last part's cost doubled to 100 bucks. So they had changed the oil i did not give them permission to do it. they cost me a 135 dollar part that did not fix it plus the labor to put it on. had it for three weeks instead of a day or so. Miss lead me on the cost of the last part, charged me to put it on too. the cost was over 300.00 dollars and should have been less than 100. They ran up the cost, lied, charged for things i did not want done. and so on. STay Away. They are a crazy bunch. They got mad as Hell at me when I questioned them, showing their butts, talking ugly and so on. Tell everyone to stay away.

As far as I am concerned this 'star' rating is FORCED on me and they do not deserve even ONE star!!! HORRIBLE buisnessmanship! TOTALLY unprofessional and LAZY! We have been going to them for over 5 years ordering parts as my husband can pretty much repair things on his own. When it comes to that simple task, even then they can't seem to get it on the day specified. My husband is in Iraq and the belt came OFF the deck on our John Deere. Took it in on a Thuirsday MORNING and when I asked as to when it would be ready (pretty simple to put belt back on, right?) he said "I will have it for you by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week". Told him I'd give him that Tuesday and be there Wednesday afternoon. This afternoon I hook my trailer up and drive 45 minutes to this place to pick it up and he said they were "waiting on a belt". his wife found my papers and she began a 'search' for the belt. She HADN'T EVEN ORDERED IT!!! I asked him to please just bring my lawnmower to me, i would take it home since my husband would be home in a few days. THIS PERSON GOT ALL pissy with ME!!! Said he'd have to put the deck back on and he had to do this and that and go to all this trouble and when I told him he had promised it by a certain day and how far I drove to get it he began to SLANDER ME and tell me he "thought I was a nice lady but he was wrong and he'd say whet he thought I was but there were other customers in the store" WOW!!! Did I just hear this man right??? Thank GOD there were other customers in the store and they heard him! I walked outside and BOTH customers came out and helped me by telling me of another place to carry my mower to as well as COMPLAIN about mistreatment against them too in the past! DO NOT GO TO THIS psycho couple who run this place!!! they do NOT keep their promises, it is terribly mismanaged and they seem to put more on the customers order than the customer expects according to the gentleman who came out to help me! I am going to the BBB on these people! I handled myself properly in there and never called this man a name or yell back at him. i simply asked for my mower. That is MY RIGHT! They think they have a monopoly on the lawn service around here but they don't and i hope they either IMPROVE their attitudes and the way they handle business or LOSE IT and shut down! Dianna H.

This business should not even ...

This business should not even get one star but I had to choose. They kept my mower close to 3 weeks when said not very busy. Did work on it I did not authorize then charged me for it! Just started replacing parts to try and fix it, charged also for replacing parts and the parts when they did not need to be replaced and did not fix it !! Very rude ! I got tired went to get it was torn apart so I was unable to, had their hooks in me. Said could not find part that cost well over $110.00 after holding 4 yr old mower for over a week I found it in a few min' on the web. I could keep going but you get the picture. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND KNOW YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT IT. I WILL DRIVE TO DOTHAN, TROY WHERE EVER NEXT TIME!!!
